Other than on the football field, I've got some lasting impressions of Galloway - I dont know if anyone remembers this, but they used to run quick 30 second strength and conditioning spots during games... one from way back was galloway doing triceps dips with a coach (Uz?)... only he was doing them with a handful of 45lb plates hanging from his waste... come to find out that - at 185 lbs +/- - Galloway could bench press 400lbs in college...

Later, Galloway would play pick up hoops at the Dublin rec center... he could dunk from virtually anywhere in or around the paint, and in crowds... it was amazing, especially since he isn't that tall.

I saw him in person a time or two - barring none, I'm not sure OSU has had a player more dynamic on offense than Joey Galloway.
It's just a meme on Urban's name...after their 2008 title, somebody was giving congrats to UF and called him Corch Myers...Gatorubet would have the whole story.
Yep, totally clear. Conversation doesn't always translate well across teh webz, but I think you and I are getting along just fine. We seem to have a lot of caveats when we're speaking so far. :)
As I said, and as I hope was obvious, I was just joking around with you. But I agree it's a wise decision to not have the vulgarity attached every time you post. You argumentative prick.
The real kicker is do these guys stay on through the bowl game? Talk about a disaster.

Most of the rumored assistants are assumed to be waiting out the season before arriving, especially since this bowl season will be more of an evaluation period than an installation of the new system.
Meanwhile, in G-ville the lizards are imploding. Bunch of guys want to quit. An Urb versus Boom schism possibly. Tthe 2009 team got lost, and we never got em back. Many Gators blame Urban for trying to slide Adazzio in as corch during his troubles. I meant it what I said failing is not lying. Urban said he was coming back with focus and delegating. He never got it done. What folks won't get is that Urban does bear responsibility for some of our mess, albeit Boom went pro style, etc. Urb was HC in 09-10 when the team began falling apart. While I agree with that, it is Boom's team and he has had a year. If he cannot get it fixed, then you need to look at the guy who can't get it done, not the guy who was a part of the problem. ESPECIALLY when he got you 2 crystal trophies and updated football facilities.

Telling you here instead of a thread so that it does not look like dumping on Urb. He can eat a bag of dicks for stealing our director of football operations however.
This month just keeps adding more and more bizarre role reversals.

UM & OSU have already switched sides on the spread, what Urban's success proved (or his departure).

Now we're not only going after the program that humbled Troy, but there's a solid chance they pursue Chuck Heater (wolverine player) & maybe Loeffler (needs no introduction... well, he didn't until he went from churning out NFL draft picks to not being allowed to alter Tebow's mechanics).

But the ESPN one is the most bizarre of all. Not that its unsurprising, just what a wild change of discourse from even a few weeks ago /looks at Tom Rinaldi with malice
Also, it is big news. Kids like to be a part of big news. makes 'em feel special when Um calls them when UM has been the morning ESPN news.
nice! congrats on the house. i bought a condo myself about two years ago, and the work never stops :)
Looks like the oversigning perceptions & lawyerisms were right about Urban. He may be an elitist (now an endearing quality), ruthless... but he doesn't cut weight.

Right now he has half the uncommitted 5-stars fawning over him, but he's honoring all of the existing commits and won't be running anyone off, despite only having about 5 (or so) spots to address major depth issues at DE, OT, LB & Harvin
