Yeah I had those seats one year at OSU were the worst seats I had in my 4 years of student tickets. Great if it was coming towards you and within about 20 and in. Not good for anything else. Best seats I ever had were corner endzone front row C deck my sophomore year.

Ohio State to Add Premium Seating to Ohio Stadium’s South End Zone in 2026
Ohio State will add a new section of premium seating to Ohio Stadium's south end zone in 2026.
According to an Ohio State press release on Tuesday, the athletic department has plans to construct nine elevated field-level suites with 12-person capacities in the south stands. The suites will also have 400 premium chairback seats situated on top of them, with the press release describing them as "the widest chairback seats in the stadium."
Each of the 400 chairback seat purchases will also include full admission to the brand new 1922 Club, which features all-inclusive food and drink opportunities before, during and after the game. Deposits for the 400 premium chairback seats, priced at $6,000 for a season, are now being accepted, and fans have until June 27 to reserve seats and become an inaugural member. Suite sales, which also include full admission to the 1922 Club, will begin at a later date.

Just sayin': Low endzone seats aren't going to have that great of view (especially in the suites). They should have had them no the top of the South stands just under the scoreboard.

Yeah, winning 900 games is an accomplishment and everything. That's not the story here. It's Rick Pitino vs Richard Pitino in the Big East. It's this, but real:

I do need Rick Pitino to live up to this promise though. If Xavier gets the win, he needs to fly back solo and make St. John's take a commercial flight the next day. You can't threaten them with a vacation to beautiful Cincinnati and then not go through with it. You're not one of the 4 best coaches this sport has ever seen and be a liar. Yeah, I said top-4 coach of all-time. Think in some order it's Pitino, Jim Calhoun, John Wooden and unfortunately K.
This is an important moment though. I know we've seen Pitino vs Pitino before, but that was New Mexico. This is Big East basketball. This is the last true major conference because they play a true round robin. This is about being a good dad. You know the moment I'm talking about - potentially from both sides here. The moment your kid beats you in something athletic? Time to retire. Fake an Achilles injury, say you can't play anymore and then never talk about it again. It's a rite of passage for any father/son relationship. Think about when you were growing up and your dad for sure just backed you down into the paint over and over again to win a 1v1 game like 21-12 on 21 layups. This is basically the coaching version of that.
Lean into the wrestling angle. Put some stakes on it, loser has to shave their head, something like that. All I know is St. John's players now know the deal. Win or you're left in Cincinnati.

What will happen to the naming rights to Ohio State's Value City Arena?
Ohio State plans to “eventually phase out” the corporate name attached to its basketball and hockey arena after Columbus-based Value City Furniture yesterday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to Adam Jardy of the COLUMBUS DISPATCH. Value City Arena has been the name of the venue located inside the Jerome Schottenstein Center since it opened in 1998. OSU will work with the Schottenstein family “to seek new potential naming rights or sponsorships for the facility.” There is no timetable for any decisions.
