Forgot to pick up the remote before you sat down on the couch, didn’t ya?It was rough.
Its always funny when fanbases don't pay attention to coaches(and I've been guilty of it as well). Day will not be calling plays, this year will be similar to when Chip was in Cbus. Day will be hands off for the most part, that's why he hired Smith, he doesn't need to babysit him. And I don't see Smith being conservative. But it'll be fun watching Tejas fans figure that out in real time
Do you even Arch Manning, Bro?I just don’t get people thinking Texas has the better offense. Why?
Need to also avoid special teams, specifically return game, fuckery.I just don’t get people thinking Texas has the better offense. Why?
We have the better OL from what I can tell, the better QB (spare me Texas), the better WR group overall (although Texas may have 2 of the top 3), and IMO the better back.
At best it’s a push at OL, RB, TE with a buckeye advantage at WR and QB.
This is a game of inches, and if everything holds similar pattern give me Julian’s decision making over Arches all day. Should’ve thrown 2 picks vs Texas State and comparing his fall footage (where their offense struggled every scrimmage vs their defense and I think their secondary is just good to average) he has been throwing INTs late across the middle.
As long as OSU avoids fumbles which Texas did a nice job at week 1 there’s no reason this has to be close like everyone says.

I’m impressed that you could actually sit through that.
That's what bourbon is for.It was rough.
The fact that Texas St out rushed Texas last week tells me all I need to know about the Texas Offense.I just don’t get people thinking Texas has the better offense. Why?

And all I heard all week is how electric these running backs are for Texas. Even from OSU folks like Zach Smith it was about how amazing their skill is.The fact that Texas St out rushed Texas last week tells me all I need to know about the Texas Offense.

Yeah well they had 12+ rushes for 0-2 yards and if Texas State didn’t turn the ball over it’s likely 21-14 nearing half time.
Ohio States offense and defense traded turns in fall camp getting the best of each other. That’s good that’s sort of what you want. All we heard all Texas camp was how their defense was kicking the shit out of their offense. I’m sorry but the 2025 buckeyes defense they aren’t so that leads me to believe their offense isn’t what they say it is.
OSU has the best unit in this game. The offense and imo this is not as good of a defense as last years Texas defense. Hill is better than Biles, their safety play was better with Taffe and their defensive line was better with Trey Moore. You throw in a more aggressive Muschamp and I can very much see how this game gets away from Texas.
You have an error ridden QB, a coach calling plays that isn’t much special after the first script (going against someone accustomed to calling plays vs Andy freaking Reid), and a defense that was built to be Ohio States Kryptonite potentially playing exactly into the type of game plan that gets teams on the wrong side of an ass beating.
OSU can certainly lose the game and there’s a few paths for that, but if OSU protects the ball and Julian Sayin I don’t think it’ll be within 2 scores.
