It's funny how historically you look at the next several games on the schedule and you think well, that's a loss, that's a loss, that's a loss. This year you look at it and think well, that's a win, that's a maybe, that's a win. As a long suffering Browns fan, I know in my heart of hearts that they are all going to be losses.

Just wanted to say that sorry that the Fever bowed out last night. Also that the 'fix' was in. I certainly understand the incompetence of the refs, but that usually extends to both sides of mid-court. Last night, the Fever took some fouls that simply were blows. Saw Aja get away with murder (almost literally), and the one where Lexie was dragged down on top of a player, AND called for the foul. Now certain how far up her a** the Fever's coach's head was, but she could have spent challenges a bit better. Not saying that the Fever was better than the Aces, but they didn't deserve any additional help from the zebras.

Forgot about Sawyer's folks....but still opine that haven't HEARD about it, not that wasn't happening. Do agree that's a nice step towards showing how family looks to those considering the S&G.

Yeah. How about the 1 play they flagged the Browns for 3 penalties? Herbie calls for offensive PI for push-off (which looked like that on replay). But when official says it's defensive, he just goes along with it. Stick to your guns Herbie. The receiver clearly initiated and continued contact. Looked like he threw a block downfield.

We didn't realize how good we had it with Trey and Q. Bo is still young, and I don't think he's seeing things as well as he needs to. Jacobi has been there, done that, and gets what he can get pretty much every play and usually falls forward for an extra yard or 3 on every run. He isn't the home run threat that Bo is, but if I have first and goal from the 5, I'd feel better with Jacobi. There's still a lot of season left, so hopefully they all start rolling.
I'm pretty sure I saw at least a play of Bison last week with Smith and Henry Jr. wide. That seems like a great way to keep a defense honest rather than trying to load up with 3 TE's and 22 guys in the box.

While there have certainly been some issues, overall, my deep seated offensive fear coming into the season hasn't happened. I was sure that Smith would basically be Bollman and we'd see Dave and more balls to the TEs than the WRs. That hasn't happened and hopefully he'll keep Day and his ego from having to prove that he's as tough as Iowa at Iowa and instead keep pushing the ball down field.

Jesus Christ, that is a trash schedule. Might be a playoff team if they can stay healthy. I think the AFC North is mid this year, and they don't play any of the AFC power teams. The Raiders are 3-0, but I don't trust them either.

They're still not a good team, and the schedule will likely expose that. But hot damn, that was fun.

I was impressed with the young receivers. Those 3 TD drives in the first half were well orchestrated. They do have to clean up the stupid penalties.

So the offense was all kinds of ass in the second half…then put together a GW drive. The kicker channeled Phil Dawson. The defense gave up 2 scores but stopped a 2-point try. I don’t know what to make of this team realistically…but they have a weaker schedule and winning is sure a hell of a lot better than losing.

I know every fanbase has their assholes, and I'll choose to believe that the Steelers have the same proportion as all the others. So it's probably just that I'm a Browns fan and notice the assholes more. But Cripes - this kind of game couldn't have happened to a better fanbase.
