If you're only going to rush 3, cool, tighten up on the receivers.

if you're going to heat him up, then run a softer zone...

You canNOT rush the passer with 3 and be soft on the back end. That's absolutely a scheme issue.

I don't think they are playing much zone. Those crossing routes keep working cause we are playing man

BB73 · Oct 3, 2026

Ok, let’s get a stop on 3rd and 10.

Wells4Heisman · Oct 3, 2026

Cannot afford that, one of the only bright spots on defense

Captain Buckeye · Oct 3, 2026

At least get the defenses eyes looking forward… also get a third LB on the field.

Now Jackson is out which is terrible since he was the only bright spot so far.

Onebuckfan · Oct 3, 2026

Where’s the leadership?

Ryan36_1 · Oct 3, 2026

Defense scheme appears to be to looking for splash plays at LOS but keeping a 2 deep. Predicated on hitting the negative plays at a high enough percentage to break up offensive momentum and get the offense behind the sticks. When we don't generate enough pressure, it is easy to dink and dunk us down the field.

They aren't tackling. What is up with slamming into people and not wrapping them up?

At this point yup. Even if they're in position, cross your fingers that they actually make the tackle.

I’m not shocked at all.

Me either… right now they need to play cover 2 or 3 and live with the results.

They aren’t even trying to run the ball

Onebuckfan · Oct 3, 2026

Safeties just standing.

Bestbuck36 · Oct 3, 2026

Running is ragged side to side.

buckeyebri · Oct 3, 2026

Little needs to be benched

dragurd · Oct 3, 2026

Great play by Jackson so of course he gets hurt

Telekinesis · Oct 3, 2026

Well, we definitely can’t afford that. Damn.

GeorgiaBuck2 · Oct 3, 2026

Fucking Iowa is carving them up lol

buckeyebri · Oct 3, 2026

What in the fuck is this defense doing

Bestbuck36 · Oct 3, 2026

They've figured this Defense out. Make some changes!@

This is a bad defense… this is 2018 or 2021 bad

D is out for lunch.

Wells4Heisman · Oct 3, 2026

Literally going to attack you all day at the LOS.
