Red Sox, Tigers - I'm with you on them. I used to like the Tigers a little. But eff that whole state.
Yankees - I grew up when the Clippers were the Yankees AAA team, so I always liked the Yankees. Less so now that they're no longer partners, but the Yankees are still above the Red Sox, in my mind.

Not sure how shocked fans can be.

- Jets have a better running game
- Better at stopping the run with light box counts
- Home game
- Unfavorable weather conditions

The Jets play a physical brand of football and have been competitive in losses despite injuries. They're not a *terrible* football team by any stretch. Not saying they're that good either, but far from nuclear rebuild.

Some of these coaches are just to smart for their own good. Really Tyson Bageant over Keenum and the guy loses you 2 straight.

Make no mistake, Maryland isn't an offensive juggernaut but I feel like Matt Patricia's unit - minus the penalties - played very well yesterday and seems primed for next weekend's challenge of beating Curt Cignetti's squad in Bloomington.

The defensive line's apparently found something, keyed by the emergence of Eddrick Houston and Qua Russaw, that's made the linebackers look a lot better than they did earlier in the season now that they have some room to read/react, and the secondary has been the defense's strength all season.

Yesterday, Ohio State held the Terps to 146 total yards and limited the nation's 28th-ranked passing offense (277 ypg) to 64 yards and just 12 completions.

Maryland couldn't run it either, averaging 2.9 yards per carry and the Buckeyes held the Terps to 3-for-12 on third down conversion tries. The Bullets kept the lid on the Terps all day with Maryland tallying just two plays over 10 yards - a pair of 13 yard runs - across 53 total snaps.

Even more impressive, Ohio State held the Terps to 22 yards or less on 11 of 12 possessions. The lone drive of more than 22 yards was the 75-yard scoring march aided by four OSU penalties (30 yards).

This defense still looks like a work in progress but even so, it appears ready to face an Indiana offense averaging 40.2 points per game (No. 14) and 462.7 yards of total offense (No. 20).

Smith's two touchdowns pushed his season total to 11 as he became the first Buckeye to record at least 10 touchdown catches in three different seasons. He also now had 38 career touchdown grabs putting him just one behind Braylon Edwards' B1G record of 39. I feel like record is officially on notice. Looks like Braylon thinks the same.
