Ohio State Women's Ice Hockey (2022, 2026 WCHA Champions, 2022, 2024 National Champions)

Beat St. Thomas in the first round of the playoffs 5-1. Second game is this afternoon.

The Olympians are back, baby, and the Swedes stepped up. Freshman Hilda Svennson had a goal and an assist, and Mira Jungaker had an assist. Finn Sani Vanhannen had two assists. Team's leading scorer, Joy Dunne (US), had a goal and an assist. All of these women will be coming back next year. Depending on who Wiscy loses, we'll likely be the odds on favorite to win it all.

Wiscy still the favorite to win it this year.

2026 Winter Olympics (Milan - Cortina, Feb 6-20)

Just sayin': I totally agree; however, it's his money and he can afford it. Besides it wouldn't surprise me if he tries to claim it as an advertising/promotion expense for his ESPN show(s) (i.e. a tax write off) too.....

Pat McAfee’s deal with ESPN is for five years and around $85 million, The Post has learned.
The stunner to me is that McAfee's 36. I don't pay much attention to him but I thought he was 45 or so.

Ohio State Men's Ice Hockey (2019 B1G Champions)

Thumped #1 ranked Sparty 5-1 in East Lansing. We'll probably split with them and then hopefully sweep a terrible ND team at home to finish the regular season. It's been a disappointing year, but Rohlik has totally pulled this team together and has them playing high end hockey in the last third of the season. We're never going to be a perennial blueblood, so these occasional rebuilding years are our lot in life, but this team should contend for a B1G title and NCAA berth next year.
