How's the weather?

I remember when I was a kid, after we moved to Oregon from LA driving through the San Joaquin going back and forth on visits. It was like the garden of Eden, so many farms. I remember there was a stretch of I-5 that was cattle ranches for miles and miles, the smell was unbearable. The last time I drove through there about 15 years ago it looked like the Sahara desert.Well, here in Cali, just another 106+ day. After a round of golf, going into the club house, and the AC there, makes the sweat freeze. Had an unseasonal 'rain storm' last week, got just enough raindrops that it attracted the swirling dust, and created dirty cars. Would take some of that sky-water y'all are experiencing, as crops are drooping, and the sweet corn is looking pretty ragged. Oh, yeah, the farmers (aka growers) here are pumping ground water to make up the shortfall, and of course, the state is taxing them on the amount of acre/feet being extracted from the ground. It's no wonder we've got over 700+ farms for sale in the area.
