My theory: LSU leaked that they were going to release Kelly by the end of the week. Kelly hears the leak, so he packs up his desk and stops acting as the coach. LSU waits a few weeks and announces that they are firing Kelly for cause because he stopped showing up for work.

Playing for your parents school means a lot. Heck, look at the last OSU commit, Wilhelm’s son. And this isn’t the type of kid that seems to want the attention at big school in a big city. Hence why his 1st commit was to BFE, PA and he feels more comfortable in WV! His visit to WVU before OSU’s already had them in a big lead, OSU was fighting just to get even. Every kid doesn’t want to be a Buckeye. And that’s ok

It was a very good game for Noel, but I do believe he could have gotten 20 if he had asserted himself a little more in the first half. It was not a particularly good performance by Tilly - 0-6 on 3s, 5 rebounds in 30 minutes against an undersized team, 9 points on 9 shots. OSU has got to have Ojianwuna available to play significant minutes against B1G competition. Glad the Buckeyes were able to pull away after the putrid start offensively, but this game showed some weakness in this team - they need more guys that are confident, aggressive and looking to make tough plays when shots aren't falling and offense isn't coming easy.

Using my interpretation, I would say that Oregon has been elite at times in the past. But they aren't elite very often.

I would say thats ridiculous. You certainly can be elite each season. You can also be elite for a length of time. Regardless, this is semantics.

Oregon has had very good years. Still have less titles than Minnesota. Not elite. Not a blue blood. New money up jumped MAC team beating their chests about having a .500+ winning percentage. Pipe down. You're Cincinnati with a billionaire football fan.
