Here in California, long ago, there was the Bakke case. White sued a university (Cal, seem to recollect), that they accepted a less qualified minority person than he into their medical/legal school. Won the case, on a hush-hush basis, and was accepted. Reverse discrimination has been around as long as the DEI programs were pushed forward. Since my college years are well behind me, and daughter is through with her schooling, haven't paid much attention. But if these universities accept the federal funding, must also accept the federal gotcha's.
