2025 tOSU Offense Discussion

Following Injuries to Ohio State Guards Luke Montgomery, Tegra Tshabola and Joshua Padilla, Ryan Day Says Two of Them Are Back Practicing

It was easy to miss that Ohio State sustained three injuries to each of its three top offensive guards during the Penn State game.
Starters Luke Montgomery and Tegra Tshabola both sustained what appeared to be minor injuries on Ohio State's final drive of the game, getting rolled up on on separate plays, and the duo was replaced by redshirt freshman Gabe VanSickle and freshman Jake Cook in the game's closing moments.
Josh Padilla, who has rotated with Tshabola at right guard much of the season, got his legs tangled up from behind on CJ Donaldson's fumble at the end of the first half. He was taken to Ohio State's medical tent and did not return to the game.
During his Tuesday press conference, Ryan Day gave an update on the trio. The good news: Two of them are already back practicing. The bad news: One is still under evaluation, though it doesn't appear to be anything long-term. And he didn't specify which one is which.
"I won't specifically mention all three of them, but I do think at least two of three, they'll be back practicing today," Day said. "One of them, we'll have to see as the week goes on, how they do. But we should be at full steam ahead."

Losing any of the trio would be a significant detriment to an Ohio State offensive line still trying to solve some things after inconsistencies in run and pass blocking vs. the Nittany Lions. Julian Sayin came under pressure on 41.7% of his dropbacks against Penn State, per PFF. Ohio State’s rushing numbers got a major boost with Bo Jackson’s 51-yard run in the fourth quarter, but other than that, the Buckeyes picked up just 113 yards on 31 carries, a poor average of 3.6 yards per carry. That said, Day still thought Ohio State did well in pass protection as the game went on.
"When you go against a good defensive line like they have, you know that you've gotta bring it every play," Day said. "I thought there was some plays where Julian was really clean back there. Some longer-developing routes, especially in the second half, where he's able to step into the throw. ... There was the 3rd-down-and-9 where we had instant penetration, then Julian had to make a play with his legs. There were a couple others like that that were too leaky. So, when you're going against good players, that's the challenge, is that we have to play with unbelievable technique. And that's about grading out a champion. So, there were some things that were good, good enough to win the game, but good enough for us to go win every game? I don't know. We'll have to keep working at it."

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters

And if they don't lose another game before then, they will also be playing for a spot in Indy and the CFP.

This is the worst case for us because the B1G refs are really gonna let them get away with murder when it comes to holding and PI with the chance to add another playoff team. Not that they were gonna get called for that stuff to begin with but it becomes worse with them having a shot at a playoff spot

#1 tOSU at Purdue BMW Thread

As if we needed another crap team to make our schedule look worse, here comes Purdue. There are currently 6 teams in the B1G with a losing record overall, and OSU has a streak of 5 of those 6 in a row. Thanks a lot, B1G schedule makers.
Indiana has 3 games remaining.

Combined, they have the same total number of conference wins as the number of times I've had actual sex with Jessica Alba.

2025-2026 College Basketball General Discussion

It's that fun time of year where random NAIA and bible colleges come to play

Johnson & Wales took a 64 point loss to BMI

Florida International took down rival Florida National by 52 points

Paine suffered a crushing and painful 75 point loss to Kennesaw State

Champion Christian came up 62 points short against McNeese

Bryan (TN) just couldn't compete with Austin Peay losing by 81! Points

That wasn't even the most lopsided result though as West Coast Baptist lost by 82 points to Weber State. But even that couldn't hold

Lincoln University (CA) came up with the worst effort of opening night. Losing by 83 points to Loyola Marymount

It's not all doom and gloom for the littlest of guys though. The Hawaii Pacific Sharks, a D2 squad who went 15-14 last year stunned Boise State 79-78

haha i love this time of year. i always learn of 1 or 5 new colleges id never heard of

2025 scUM Shenanigans, Arguments, Arrogant Twatwaffles, Emasculated Cucks, Feckless Marmots, Dirty Cheaters

We can talk shit on scUMs personnel, on field play and recruiting when we get back to beating the living hell out them again.

But not a moment sooner.

Trashing them over their cheating, arrogant ways, are always on the table though.

Their defense is legit.

OL is improving but receivers and QB are below average.

Still expecting a dog fight.

This.

I will get over my Self Inflicted Phone Booth (SIPB) syndrome when Day shows me he can stay out of it for the game that matters more than all the others combined.

So far, so good this year but the foreplay matters not.

Alabama Crimson Tide (official thread of Football, Fake Championships and Banjo)

These arguments make me laugh. These If / then arguments, where the "If" part is false. There's no way to test the rest because the first part is false.
If you paid me $20M per year to play basketball, I'd make 100% of my free throws.
If frogs had wings, they wouldn't hit their asses when they hop.
If Indiana played Alabama's schedule, they wouldn't be undefeated.
If Chuck Norris was born on the moon, he'd punch all the COVID viruses and they'd all do his taxes for him.
There's no way to prove any of these statements right or wrong.

They're fine for a group of friends hanging out in the bar arguing about whether the 1975 Reds could have beaten the 2010 Canadian hockey team in video poker. But Paul Finebaum will never be taken seriously as a national sports figure by using arguments like this.

I have you completely defeated

If time is moving forward, M*chigan will still suck.

Now, tell me...am I wrong?

Play Game Weekly Upset Contest for 2025

PENN ST

So I missed a week or so at the beginning of the season due to an illness. I then decided to launch a new "Weekly Upset Contest" strategy. I have only taken teams that were playing SCUM or few times Clemson when SCUM wasn't an option. This week I have to go to the field for my pick. So far my brilliant plan has netted me ZERO points.

But, let's never forget .... FUCK *ICHIGAN !!
