It's this scenario we just saw. One superstar has a terrible series (Betts) one is getting older and was so/so (Freeman) but still won a game for you so some of these other "role players" have their moment to step up. When Wil Smith is sort of your answer to a "role player" you are so damn good you win back to back World Series.

I don't like it for the Reds but I sure as hell respect what they have built. Making it even worse, other than Max Muncy, none of them really piss me off. Most are likeable guys. Freddy Freeman is a HOF guy as well as player. Pure class and grace.

I wish I could hate them more.

Is This The Best OSU Team Ever?

Obviously it's is a little early to ask this question, but this team is just so well rounded.

This team has the 2 best Wrs in the sport, the best QB, the 2 best defenseive players ( Downs and Reese), and the best coaching. Its hard to find a weak spot anywhere on the roster. Maybe punter, but he never gets a chance anyways.

Is this the best OSU team of all time? If not, then which team was better?

'26 OH PG Marcus Johnson (OSU Decommit)

Kinda thought the 'style of play' sounded a bit sketchy. To my way of thinking (old gray matter remember), the PG brings the ball down, and sets up the play, whether it's a give and go, passing off to an open shooter, driving and dishing off, or taking it to the rack himself. Sooo, not entirely certain what the actual concern(s) are, unless, like mentioned above, it's an NIL thing.
