Yeah, it's like Bjork thinks people/businesses will donate more for NIL for OSU hoops just because the university plans to make an effort to get more deals done. While he may be right in a technical sense such as sheer quantity of deals, it's hard to envision a scenario where the quality of third-party deals, the actual dollar amounts, for men's basketball goes up significantly next season.
I remember my wife dragging me to see that movie on our first anniversary. We went to a fancy seafood restaurant on the Camelback corridor. Our waiter was a young, smug jerk and I remember when we paid our tab he grabbed that little book where you leave your check and almost in front of us opened it up to see how much we tipped him. It's not a classic, and doesn't rock. Hate that effing song

While he may be right in a technical sense such as sheer quantity of deals, it's hard to envision a scenario where the quality of third-party deals, the actual dollar amounts, for men's basketball goes up significantly next season. The obvious bigger problem with this is that something has to happen to get 3rd party donors interested. The current product is not going to be attracting a ton.

I gotta say, Ross Bjork's interview that 11W published does not have me very encouraged. Basically, Bjork thinks that simply a slightly larger revenue share allocated to basketball next year and using 3rd party NIL donors more will be sufficient to make up the difference between OSU and the other programs they have to compete with. Not very convincing when you realize that every program is doing the same things and OSU is already well-behind many of their peers.

ehhh....most of Taylor's seasons were very meh. He's carried by the high placement in the 5 years they were in the tournament (my system probably gives him more points than he should get honestly)....Taylor's (and Miller's) number is skewed low as the tournament didn't expand to 32 teams until 1975 and 64 in 1985.

Matta is a total unicorn.
With time comes the need for patience. The thing is, after listening to the Common Idiot and SoyBoyTimmy on 97.1 on the way home, I don't think patience is going to happen. Screaming "This is Ohio State, it should ALWAYS be like that" makes for nice soundbytes but it's not reality yet. To get there, you have to build it. It's not built.
I was in my 30's when that song came out, I remember it. I can't wrap my head around calling it "classic rock". Is Smash Mouth classic rock too now? Hey now, you're an all star... I don't think so.99.7 in Columbus plays it damn near every hour
But 99.7 sucks so....
Lucky stiff…Didn’t I read the @BB73 motorboated her before he died?
There's three on each (four on Canada). Two of the USA players (Barnes and Bilka) are alums playing professionally.Even more dishearteningly, there are more Buckeyes on Sweden than USA.
Ohio State
- Joy Dunne, USA
- Mira Jungåker, Sweden
- Jenna Raunio, Sweden
- Hilda Svensson, Sweden
- Sanni Vanhanen, Finland
Ain't nothing like having a couple of those kicking doors in the suck!I’m not aware of the first meaning of ‘Fur Missile,’ and I don’t think I want to know.
99.7 in Columbus plays it damn near every hourListen to any "classic rock" station and you'll still hear it about 5 times a day.
