2025-2026 Ohio State Men's Basketball

Ohio State picked up its 1st quad 1 win of the year today when Northwestern moved into the top 75 of the NET with its strong showing in the loss to Michigan though I am afraid this might be a short stay for them in the top 75 NET and the quad 1 win.

That said I can't imagine the win holds much weight since NW is 10 miles away from the bubble.

With the 5 game stretch starting Saturday I think they are gonna need a lot of help in terms of the other bubble teams losing, unless they can manage a couple of upsets. They probably need to go no worse than 2-3 in these 5 to keep the hope alive without a deep B1G tournament run.

I think the program is heading in a positive direction under Haire. Last year was brutal but I think it was going to be brutal no matter who the coach was. Don't think they make the NCAAs this year at all but I think we will see a noticeable improvement and year 3 could be a real breakthrough

I think they should be forced to play B1G teams. What? With the additional opportunity for ‘quality losses’ by picking up an additional conference game? Someone needs to keep this SEC juggernaut in check. I mean hell, with all those quality losses, they are going to be demanding 8 teams make it to the playoffs.
