Thread devolves, as so many do, into a cry fest about how much we miss Joe Paterno.
One guy says he was the best.
Another says he wasn't.
Then this post:

Beat Saban head to head: I'm guessing he's referring to his time at Michigan State. Not impressed.
Won following the rules: I guess it isn't "cheating" to hand-pick the referees. Other than the next point, I'm not sure what "rules" he thinks others broke.
No money men paying players: All teams paid their players. No points for this one.
Was a real disciplinarian: Yeah, zero points. We used to laugh at the players who had run-ins with the law and how they got off with no punishments. To further prove my point, see how he handled Jerry Sandusky.
Emphasized academics over football: This drips with a fear at that school that the players better pass, or Paterno sends his goons to break some thumbs.
