tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Believe this thread points out the benefits of having a starter-ready QB on the pine. Dante got knocked out of the SC/O game, and in came Dylan Riaola (of Husker fame), in relief, and tossed 289 yds and two TDs to put the coffin nails in the Spoiled Children. Not certain that we have someone of that caliber on our bench. Anyway, Oregon had to use their 'bagmen' to get Riaola up to Eugene, but bet they're glad they did.

Codicil to above. Riaola got benched the next game.

Yes, it seemed like those teams were battle hardened, which really helped down the road. I was thinking about that. Last years team, arguably more talented just wasn't challenged and it showed.

There is one big difference which makes it considerably more difficult to win the NC. The conference is much much better, there is more parity as a consequence of the portal and NIL, and the schedule is longer.

If they can somehow pull through, I can foresee a special run in the playoffs.

Bet some vcash that he's taking note of all the PBUs that our DBs enjoyed versus Illinois. Thought I saw a couple of potential picks that maybe coulda been made, but a PBU is also pretty good, methinks. Got the 6-1 6-2 size needed for a good S, don't know about how quick feet or amount of heart, or just Caleb football feel.....Here's hopin' Go Bucks!

Maybe. Again, I think it was the right thing to do. Maybe that's the disturbing thing: the Big Ten officials did something right?
