2029 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Other names to know

Another intriguing 2029 prospect visiting Ohio State this weekend is Max Hopkins, a 6-foot-8, 235-pound tight end from Indiana. While Hopkins is currently unranked, he has offers from Indiana and Purdue, and his size certainly makes him a prospect to watch, especially considering he’s only a sophomore.

Kolton Wymer, the younger brother of 2027 offensive line commit Kellen Wymer, will also be on campus this weekend as a 2029 offensive line recruit. While Kolton doesn’t have any offers yet, the Buckeyes will surely keep an eye on his development over the next few years as his older brother, the No. 61 overall prospect in the 2027 class, begins his Ohio State career next year.

Hunter McGlaughlin is a name to watch. #7 QB by Rivals, #1 in Ohio. Won UA camp as a freshman, has visits lined up to OSU and UGA. Have known him since 6th grade, kid is not afraid to work or compete

The next great QB for Moeller High School. I get why the coach went with the older kid at QB at the beginning of the season (he was a program guy) but you have to wonder if they'd be undefeated right now if he did. The prior coach probably waited too long to start Ponatkowski, too. Big Moe is set for the next two years at the QB position.
Has the right size and attitude. I think I saw UK, TCUN and OSU started to look at him pretty hard recently.

Ohio State offers big time 2029 St. John Bosco WR, makes the cut for 2028 OL

Ohio State offered a big time wide receiver prospect on Wednesday, and the Buckeyes also made the cut for a highly coveted 2028 offensive lineman

No shortage of time spent on recruiting these days, Ohio State was plenty busy on their bye week pursuing prospects all over the country.
Offering their latest player on Wednesday, the Buckeyes went back to a familiar West Coast prep powerhouse and did so in the 2029 class by way of Kuika Moaalii.
Taking to his social media to share the latest news in his recruitment, Moaalii is a 6-foot-3, 205 pound athlete out of St. John Bosco. Unranked via his 247Sports profile for now, the offers linked to his name prove he’s already being thought of as one of the better players in his 2029 cycle regardless of position.
Double-digit schools on his list, programs such as Alabama, Miami, Oregon, USC, Washington, and a host of others have also thrown their name into the mix. Likely to be one of the higher-ranked receivers when all is said and done, leading his St. John Bosco squad at the position as just a sophomore is impressive.
Cortez Hankton liking what he sees, the next goal for Ohio State is getting him on campus. When the receiver position is the focus, it’s pretty easy for the Buckeyes to get what they want given their track record.
Plenty of names likely to surface in the 2029 class at receiver, Moaalii is the latest one to take notice of moving forward.
