Ohio State Injury Report: Jay Timmons and Phillip Daniels Questionable to Play vs. Iowa, Zion Grady Cleared to Play​

Starting safety out for Iowa​

Iowa will be without a starter in its secondary as safety Tyler Brown is listed as out.

Brown previously missed Iowa’s first two games of the season due to injury. He returned for the Hawkeyes’ previous two games, but Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz said Tuesday that Brown is “not fully back yet.” Villanova transfer Anthony Hawkins, who started the first two games of the season in place of Brown but played only one defensive snap against Michigan, is likely in line to start in Brown’s place.

Kyler Gerardy, a reserve defensive back for Iowa, is the only player listed as out for the Hawkeyes. Freshman cornerback Darion Jones and backup linebacker Derek Weisskopf are listed as questionable.

Per Birm, OSU is still in communication with WR Benny Easter and CB Gabriel Osborne, and not outside the realm of possibility that they take a visit next month.

The Osborne one in particular is interesting, as if Dom Kelly doesn’t develop more this season, our “need” becomes greater.

I was there and was among those who were on the field afterwards. I was in B Deck and got down to the turf in record time with my buddy that came into town for the game. Very fun game and the Shoe was electric for that one.
