Local news is reporting 70-30 edge in fans walking around the streets for Xichigan. Also, a lot of Illinois fans have stuck around (compared to Arizona fans).

I would be surprised if he doesn't end up at Scum. I believe his dad is a pretty proud alumnus. The kid has his own free will though.

They aren't but when you have guys like Bilas and Kellogg state that they aren't picking Michigan because of the injury to Cason, you pay attention. Michigan was going to be the favorite even if those players were available or not.

I just have a different perspective. Back in 2021 when Michigan was a one seed, they didn't have one of their best players available (Livers) for the big ten tournament and NCAA tournament. They lost to UCLA in the elite eight 51-49. I can play the oh Michigan was just unlucky card and say that they would have made the Final Four with him. At the end of the day, you don't know what the result would have been and nobody really gives a shit. You play with what you have and don't make excuses. The fact is that UCLA won the game and I would never take any credit away from them based on hypotheticals.

Yet, you won't even take into consideration Michigan's injuries. The main reason people like Clark Kellogg and Jay Bilas (two of the few guys I respect in the business) didn't pick Michigan is because of Cason's injury (Who upped his game late in the season and was consistently scoring in double figures while shooting 50% fg and 40% from 3). The difference is that I can look at a team and give them their props. I can look at the 2024 Buckeye football team and say that they were the best team that year and deserved to win the championship. I don't come up with excuses to why they aren't worthy.
