Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

There’s criteria???? Do tell. I mean Blackledge was touting it on the broadcast.
Oh there's criteria. It was mostly made up after the fact once they started losing games. Sometimes it's "it was only a student section white out"....sometimes it's "it wasn't a night game white out". The school started officially announcing which game it was after a few years to help with the con.

USC was an official white out, by the way. I was just making fun of their claim every time they lose one that it wasn't a REAL one.

Game Thread tOSU at Indiana, Saturday Oct. 17, Noon ET, FOX

One way to confront that is to have a solid rushing attack which will keep Indy off balance. Establishing the run and stopping the run will be key on Saturday.
Trying to run to set up the pass is how Day teams end up in rock fights, imo.

Just be who you are and throw the ball. Sayin is the whole game. If he can call the right protections and handle the pressure we should be good every where else.

Grew up a huge Ohio State fan, as his dad played linebacker for the Buckeyes. Was not recruited by Ohio State. Had a career day in victory against Ohio State. I don't love what he did there after the game, but I get it.
Ah the jilted Buckeye story…..Never heard one of those before

Week 7 Game Discussion Thread

BigWoof's annual rant against "BIG NOON"

It is ridiculous that the past two National Champions, who are both ranked in the Top 10 have to play at noon while the rest of us are subjected to Miami vs. Florida State or ND vs. BYU or Kentucky vs. Oklahoma.

But yay! Wisconsin at UCLA should be fun.........

Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

This might be the worst offensive line in the last half century. And apparently 3/4 of the receivers were absent the day they taught catching the ball.

This team is never going to be consistent with a line this bad. Like, ever.

And Verse is starting to remind me of a younger Dwayne Bowe. He got paid by a shitty team (in this case traded to one)...the give-a-fuck-ometer doesn't seem to be functioning.

QB1 Julian Sayin (All B1G, B1G Frosh of Year, All American, National Frosh of Year, National Champion)

For anyone saying Julian isn't a great QB I want what you're smoking lol. He had an off game. It happens.

Just sayin': If you look at Julian Sayin's "Adjusted QBR" and "Completion Percentage" for every game in 2025 and 2026; the Maryland game (i.e. 41.8 and 61.9%) was his alltime worst.

This team knows how to bother Sayin.

That’s the biggest risk.

He has to step up.
I’m leaning toward giving him a normal 2-read timing. Look at two guys, and if you haven’t tossed the ball either take off to open space or throw it away. A defensive score and/or an injured QB are the easiest paths to a bad outcome Saturday.

The O-line doesn’t look it can be trusted to give Sayin 3+ seconds to throw the ball, and the Indiana D-Line is solid and they effectively run a bunch of stunts.
