“We didn't end the way we wanted to, we wanted to get a championship trophy, and it didn't end that way. So I think the whole program has a chip on our shoulder from that this year.”– Julian Sayin on Ohio State’s motivation entering 2026

Sayin didn’t want to share specifics about how Ohio State’s offense has changed this offseason under Arthur Smith, but he’s excited about what the Buckeyes’ new offensive coordinator has brought to the table. Asked to describe Smith’s offense in one word, Sayin said the offense will be “exciting.”

“He's done a lot of great things,” Sayin said. “You gotta wait for the fall and see. It's going to be exciting.”

And Howard. You don't have to (and shouldn't) be Johnny Manziel. You just have to pick up first downs when the field is spread and they're there to be gotten.
Howard was about damn perfect in deciding to run or throw. He was a decent athlete, but his decisiveness was the key. I think that can be learned, so I think Julian can get that decision making skill down. Lord knows the talent is there and he's a decent enough athlete.

What song are you listening to right now

Didn't attend but remember when this took place. My freshman English teacher took a bunch of kids to the Saturday concert which was mstly punk and new wave. It was a legendary weekend. It later played on HBO. Seeing it now reminds of what a God like figure Ozzy was back in the day and Van halen before they went full pop

MLB General Discussion (Official Thread)

Don’t ruin a good joke. :sneaky:
It's a great joke and it's true. I've taken some heat here in the past for saying that Hispanic athletes are a few cuts below of native whites and blacks and I stand by that. When I arrived in the valley of the sun back in the 90's the high school football scene was thriving. There were several really good teams within a 10 minute drive from my house and I was a big fan of friday night lights. As the demographics changed and we started to see more and more sons of Mexican and central American immigrants fill the school the games have become unwatchable. They may be good at soccer but as far as football and basketball goes they suck. Sorry, that just the truth.

SEC (It just means more.. even its losses are wins)

I’m totally okay with them seceding. It may be their best chance at success. And take Notre shame with y’all.

I'd be fine with the inbreds going full Jefferson Davis.

If OU & Texas would pull their heads out of their asses we could reform the conferences, along with traditional rivalries, back to their original regional markers.

Give me the Big 10, Big East, PAC & Big 12 as the lord intended and rid the CFB world of the SEC. Life would immediately be better.
