Lou had issues, but who doesn't. A lot of people would run through a brick wall for the guy (Jerome Bettis had a very nice tweet tribute today) so he had to have done some things right. RIP, he was certainly one of those larger-than-life figures that impacted a lot of people.

Massive visits set up for priority DT Kasi Currie.
He will visit OSU on April 4, as well as an OV set up for May 29th.
This recruitment is purely going to come down to $. He’s the top DT on the board at both Oregon and Texas and other SEC schools are also pushing. As I noted in an earlier post, it certainly seems like we are willing to spend big at DT this cycle, and it’ll be fascinating to see which guy we decide to push our chips in on (similar to DJ Jacobs at Edge).

Coaches like Mick do the same things that HCs do. They visit other programs, and see what's what. If they pick up one little thing, it's money well spent. Remember that tOSU had RBs etc run down a ramp with a parachute on their back, to increase footspeed. Novel, not even certain they do that anymore. Would bet that some of the Ohio schools send their S&C coaches to Columbus-town to learn at the feet of Coach Mick, and that he's happy to share what he does. Anyway, just my thought of the day.

Sounds like we were not in it at the end, so of course, I wonder why. JL is earning rep as a great recruiter and coach, so of course, with my S&G tinted glasses, wonder why we don't get them all.....

Yeah, don't see players pushing by him on a TO. Which is what you'd expect if they had lost confidence in him. There has been an uptick in intensity by the Buckeyes since the Iowa skunking. Would assume that Thornton has gotten on his soapbox in the closed lockeroom. Maybe not, but could see it happening other than a quiet shower and leaving. Anyway, nice to see. Wish Noel gets healthy, haven't really seen Puff do much, but better shooter than White. All in all, agree with the above, tOSU has improved more than a little since the beginning of the season. Which would expect. Great win against PSU, so hopefully carry forward against Indiana, and then two (?) wins in B10 championship ladder. That would (in my hopes) cement them into the Dance. I do love me some Tex-Mex food and anything BBQ except that road kill with vinegar they try and pass off as BBQ in the Carolinas.

I'll give Diebler credit again. Ped State sucks but we tend to have letdown games against them and that absolutely didn't even come close to happening this time. They came out and played with the same energy and drive they did against Purdue. Let's keep it up!

Depends…if he’s gone to court and negotiated paying a bigger fine for no points on his license, the likely never. 94 sounds like a lot, but it’s within the “11-29 over” threshold that makes it a basic speeding ticket. I’m not defending it, just saying that as long as he isn’t over 100 or going 80 in a residential area…he’ll probably be able to keep doing it.
