It’s strange to say this, but I think we’re dealing with a much different era now with the NIL and the whole shebang. These 5 stars get smoke blown and have high demands, while these other guys are coming in with a blue collar mentality and giant chips on their shoulders. They just want to shine.

Might be time to decide to start watching more film rolls than the * next to a guy’s name.

That’s a broad generalization, but I do think there’s more to show and prove by the ugly ducklings these days, as is being shown tonight by this squad.

100%. You can tell Day doesn’t care as much about points and would rather win by ~7-10, but there’s no upper limit to Cignetti’s will to score. It’s a dominance mindset that some coaches don’t understand.

The first time I realized this was when he was getting pantsed by OSU and ND last year and waited to go hurry up in the last few minutes to get as many garbage points in as possible.

Back after about a three-week hiatus. Indiana is no doubt, by far, the best team in the country. If you would've told me just before the beginning of the 2024 season that Indiana would by 25-2 and being leading by 28 points at halftime in the CFP semi-finals less than a year and a half away, I would've reported you to the cops for serious drug abuse.

Last year in the CFPs Ohio State led Oregon 34 - 8 at the half.

Tonight Indiana is up on Oregon 35 -7 at the half.

I definitely felt IU had a better chance of keeping the Nati in the BigTen. I didn’t feel Oregon would beat Miami.

As much as I hate to say this, I would truly enjoy if the last three CFP Championships have been won by a member of the Big Ten.

It’s the one in 2024 I don’t like to recognize.
