Yeah, but to be fair it's gotten harder with the rule change to foul up 3, because now if a guy is able to gather before the foul, he can reactively chuck it up and get 3 free throws. So now to be able to foul up 3 successfully, you have to know the opponent will be unable to gather the ball before the contact. In other words, if a player with the ball knows the defender is coming for the foul, it can be risky to foul up 3.

11 seed is a great spot.. not as great as 12 which is likely where the Zips land... 12-5 matchups have been THE major upset match historically..

The entire MAC tourney was wicked... every team played well.. every game was hard fought... and decided last minute.. impressive

As an MBA that earned that sheepskin when the program was rated in top 25, would really like to see tOSU flex some muscle and elevate it's programs into being top recognizable programs in the nation. Not entirely certain how that can occur, given the undergraduate rules we live under. PS, having gone to Miami U as undergrad, freshman class was limited to dorm space, as Oxford was/is tiny. C'bus, has plenty of apartment opportunities, let alone a huge number of fraternities/sororities with living space. Just a bon mot. Maybe this cat can make that happen, we'll see. Or, maybe he'll be content to guide this ship, making no waves.

What undergrad rules are affecting the business school? We have a 50% rejection rate for our freshman classes and the 12th highest median SAT score in the country among publics.

And as @Steve19 can attest, I've been critical of Fisher underperforming for years given their lavish resources, but I believe that both undergrad and MBA are ranked in the top 25 in USNWR.

Yale had a 2-point lead with 10 seconds to go, they got a defensive rebound, had no turnovers, committed no fouls, made 4 of 4 FTs, and lost in OT.

They needed to foul when they were up 3, without letting Power shoot another 3.

Penn with the upset and wins back-to-back games in OT to secure their bid to the dance. Power finishes with 44 points and 14 rebounds - went 9-9 from the FT line (didn't even touch the rim) as a 61% FT shooter.

Heartbreak for Yale, who would have gotten the automatic bid under the Ivy League's old way of deciding it as regular season champs.

Julian won’t be the only Sayin playing quarterback in Columbus this year.

Aidan Sayin, the older brother of Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin, signed last month with the Columbus Aviators, the UFL team that will play its inaugural season in Ohio’s capital city this spring. Having made “countless” trips to Columbus over the past two years to see his brother, the elder Sayin is thrilled to have the opportunity to play in the 614.

“I love the city, whether that's in the winter with the snow or in the summer playing pickleball. I've had a great time there, and the fans and the environment around football is second to none,” Aidan Sayin told Eleven Warriors in an interview this week. “So I'm excited for what the fans can bring to the Aviators this season.”
