Terrelle Pryor’s case against Ohio State, NCAA and Big Ten dismissed by judge
Terrelle Pryor’s lawsuit against Ohio State, the NCAA and the Big Ten over denied name, image and likeness compensation was dismissed Friday.
A judge ruled OSU was covered by "sovereign immunity." Pryor’s claims were deemed to be outside the four-year statute of limitations for an antitrust lawsuit.
Much of his case centered around the money he would have made as one of the biggest names in college football during his time in Columbus.
Pryor, a former quarterback for the Buckeyes (2008-10), was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2008.
Before July 2021, collegiate athletes could not profit off their name, image and likeness.

Just sayin': I don't feel sorry for him at all, as far as I'm concerned he got is "NIL benefits" when he sold his jewelry for tattoos.....
