In other Zach Smith news, McMurphy is calling it “bush league” for Ohio State to confirm Tom Herman as the other coach with ZS on the infamous strip club visit.

So if Ohio State had declined to ID that assistant, they would be accused of hiding something. But if they do ID, they’re “Bush league,” says the guy who wrote a serious report about dildos.

McMurphy is a piece of shit. He’s all but confirming that Herman was his lead on the ZS story. And fuck Tom Herman. I rooted for that guy. Hope he goes sub-.500 and gets shitcanned by Texas soon.

EDIT: I hope we get Texas in a bowl game. I don’t care if it’s the damn Meineke Car Care Bowl. We’d fuck them up ten ways from Sunday

My summary-

She has allegations. Zach Smith answered questions about allegations. Conclusion:

Chief Vest has said that the full investigation contains information that would explain or dispute allegations by Courtney Smith. The city has refused, however, to release the full investigation.

Vest said police had turned the case over to the Delaware County Prosecutor for felony charges. Those were never filed.

Brad Koffel, Zach Smith’s attorney, said that Smith returned from a recruiting trip in November 2015, “answering every question police asked.”

The case, he said, was reviewed by prosecutors and “everyone can draw their own conclusion why charges weren’t filed.”

Nothing new at all other than the accusation that “Ohio State” sent a lawyer to convince Courtney Smith to drop charges... that weren’t filed by police in the first place.

That seems like a laughably unsubstantiated claim that she certainly would have mentioned again in the more recent interviews... it seems likely she was confusing the Florida incident with anything Ohio State did in the police report.

Long story short, in 2015 she told a police officer that an OSU lawyer came out and put pressure on her to keep quiet to not embarrass osu.

Fast forward to 2018 and she told mcmurMcMthat nobody from OSU reached out, she was interviewed by the investigation team and either forgot to tell them, or they didn't include it in their report.

My conclusion: this either takes Urban down or crushes Courtney Smith's character.

Edit: it also makes you believe that the officer took that information and thought it was smart to put it in the report, but not important enough to follow up with.

Yeah, pretty sure that claim would (rightfully) be sounding the casino jackpot if that were true and verified. Seems like the $500K investigation team would have found that if she kept the story as she told it in 2015.

Also, any lawyer risking that?

I thought that nobody from tOSU reached out to her about any of this. This seems to contradict that. Which version to believe at this point?
