This too might be tough on his kids.I don't wish him ill, but my life frankly would be richer had Zach Smith not been born.

No, absolutely not saying anything about the original poster accusing ZS of being guilty. Not even in the same atmosphere. Don't assume such negative aspect.I think I've done a relatively decent job setting forth my position on this, and my advise to Zach would also be the shut the fuck up. I know he's hurting, it's precisely why he's lashed out like this today. But, after all that is said and done, life continues on and there are consequences. Which is to say, I think maybe you took the original "shut the fuck up" as a "you're a liar and a fucker, so shut your mouth" to Zach, rather than a piece of free advice. Now, I don't know how the OP intended it, but I can say, again, if I was Zach's attorney, friend, or relative, I would have been on the phone trying to save him from himself in this. Like they say, nothing good happens after midnight... well... nothing good comes of a twitter rant, is all.

Think about this, why so many keep responding to my original respond? Is it because they think differently than I do? They want to defend and justify their position. Some even got so mad and used the F bombs...go back and read.
That was exactly my point as they want to defend a point of view. Where as ZS is being accused as a wife beater and lost his current job and potential future jobs, yet these folks feel okay for them to defend themselves in a forum and condemn ZS for defending his position, which by far much more serious.
Not a fan of Lynn's post at all. No one knows if there was DV or not other than CS and ZS. It is one thing for a mother to go on the record that there was no DV, but how can anyone expect Urban or the University to take that stance? If you are wrong it is a disaster and if you are right you still look really bad.
I completely emphasize with ZS and his children. He made the bed that he is lying in, but he is 100% right that he will forever be tied to the stigma of DV and has had his dirty laundry aired in the national media - including details that did little more than sensationalize the story in order to gather clicks. I emphasize with him and his mother; I would feel the urge to go on the attack to anyone who I felt that hurt my children. I hope that there is someone in his life who can councel him and help him see that this is not the best way to address the situation.
No idea where that came from unless you want to change to subject. Good try by insinuating me of something.
May be they are smiling because they are truly happy to be with their dad, who is not a monster as some people accused him of??Zach needs to delete the pic of the kids - now. He can't always keep them on the sideline, but he certainly shouldn't be putting them in the game.
Besides, they were smiling. That doesn't support his narrative.
Of source that is better, you don't come across as an asshole thinking you know how this pass few months have impacted him and his family. Of course Zach did wrong things that most of us have not.“Zach please stop, it’s a bad look” work better? Deep breathe...
Yeah... good luck with that. Firing your client ain't easy.A good attorney would fire Zach Smith as a client for failing to take legal advice for him to stfu.
Assuming his Attorney told him not to go on a twitter rant prior to his doing so.. which .... I'm dubious that one incident of being a bonehead client will be sufficient to carry the day on a motion to withdraw. But, in truth, I haven't really grappled with these ideas since the MPRE. lol.Failure to take legal advice is a popular motion to withdraw in non-criminal cases. In criminal cases, it’s a given the client isn’t going to take your advice.
EDIT: I see how I boxed myself in there
At a bar for some drinks after work- ESPN bottomline is presenting today’s tirade nicely. Honestly.
Says he never hit his wife and OSU botched investigation.
