Once Osborne came back as AD most everything went back to normal (the way it was pre-Callahan/Pederson). Bo does a few things his own way, but for the most part he's a respecter of tradition.

I don't think we'll know the answer to the question in #3 until the penalties are assessed. With that in mind, the NCAA has the ability to exert a lot of influence on what happens in #1 through sanctions. That's the reason Mandel says the odds are not in Tressel's favor. Historically speaking, the NCAA has made the prospect of keeping a coach untenable in instances where that person had not already resigned or been terminated by the time the NCAA ruled.

The real crime of this all is seeing Cam Newton dressed up on TV like a millionaire, in expensive, personalized clothing/apparel, and not a word being uttered. I'm not in any way condoning what Tressel and OSU allegedly did, but the fact that all the jibber jabber and visual evidence suggesting Newton was ineligible and went without a lengthy and detailed investigation, makes me want to curb stomp these NCAA officials.

Because the days of being a biased homer for the local team are over. The days of the scribes hanging out with the subjects and keeping 90% of reality 'off the record' are dead...

Now its all about the scoop...good or bad.

I also noticed in Gene's comments to the AP that he has started to seperate himself from Tress a bit. Could be reading into it but he used words that tell me he is keeping forced resignation on the table.

ROFLOL - I'm gonna enjoy that flame job. And they can say I'm hating cause of his color, but he and I are the same color, LOL

Well, he's right. Everybody is ripping Tressel and tOSU. Tressel deserves it for his poor handling of the situation...not sure tOSU does, but they're simply guilty by association. Thankfully, it looks like everything's been exposed, so no more surprises are coming down the pipe. We're gonna be in the public's bullseye until the next scandel du jour comes along....and in today'sblood thirsty sports media, it won't be long.
