If the Compliance Dept were smart they would self-inflict a bowl ban RIGHT NOW. We aren't getting in the CCG now, so get it over with.

I would wait for the conference call to the NCAA. During the course of the conversation, would state my desire for resolution, and ask if the self imposed
penalties were sufficient? If the answer was no, asked to be banned from a bowl this year, and close the case.

Now I know we requested to have a conf. call with the NCAA the week after the scUM game...have we heard if they are going to allow that to happen or not?

And if so, what are the odds, the Athletic department will be told as to the severity of our sanctions? Or we are given a hint, and we are allowed to self impose for this season?

My guess is that getting the NCAA to commit to anything during the conference call would be like expecting Peggy to actually help you:

Fuck right that is. I was pissed when Miami did it this year after seeing what their bowl prospects looked like, but what's good for the Ibis...

I think the idea that we'd self impose a post-season ban at this point in a disapointing season is disingenuous, transparent and completely futile.

So...right up Gene's ally?

That's why they should have done it last Thursday.

I've felt that it was disingenuous too, but Effff that... Nobody gonna look after us better than us. Fuck the rest of em and do what is best for tOSU at this point.
