However, I would still like to know how the hell they figured the actual hours worked if Independence did not provide any information beyond what was shown in the documents. If he couldn't produce documentation of compliance training conducted with Herron, Posey and every other football or basketball player on a monthly basis since January he's fired on the spot. I probably don't even let him pack a box. I may encourage students to spit on him.

No, we're passed documentation of compliance on Gene's part. The fact that he's thrown multiple people under the bus in an attempt to save his own ass is the last straw. We need an AD with ACTUAL integrity and honesty.

Archie Griffin would be my choice, but I'm not sure even he'd want to step into this mess tOSU has gotten into.

Today's announcement isn't much in the big picture. We're already heading for sanctions, and this season is going down the tubes. I suspect we will see some major house cleaning in the off season. Anywhere from an entirely new coaching staff, to a new AD and maybe even a new president.

I feel sorry for the innocent parties who are getting dragged down in this mess.
