drew rosenhaus is his agent. has been for a while.

the nfl cares about kids trying to game the draft system. if it was a free for all, kids would not declare for the draft, then apply for the supplemental each year to try and get agreements in place for teams that they want to play for. that's why there has to be an extenuating circumstance that happens to allow a player to get into the supplemental draft. being ruled ineligible for a year is such a thing. just forfeiting your eligibility by signing with an agent is not.

It was enough for Cris Carter.

I'd forgotten that Carter went in the '87 Supplemental Draft.

And didn't Kosar merely graduate? Now, having said that, the move Bernie put on the NFL, and subsequently the Browns on the Bills-- mostly the rest of the league actually-- may have been impetus for a rule change.

Well this is what I get for stopping and watching espin for 2 minutes.

Hank Goldberg, crack espin reporter, is in Coral Gables reporting for espin. He discussed the story and said that the U's biggest fear is that coaches knew about the situation and I quote "that would put them in the same situation as Ohio State."

The story immediately following that story is that Terrelle Pryor has admitted additional violations to the NCAA stemming from payments made by his mentor Ted Sarniak to Pryor and his mother.

Am I missing something here? The same situation as Ohio State at the U? Are you [censored]ing kidding me?

And hasn't the Sarniak thing been put to bed?

Jesus Christ, espn is just a parody of themselves at this point. There isn't a segment that goes by either on the radio or on the tv where they aren't just making [Mark May] up about Ohio State.

It's us against the world. Get ready boys. It's almost time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just happy that 8/12 came and went before incident. And that it was over in under 4 hours.

Now ESPiN can say whatever they want. They're gonna have to eat shit when the report comes out.

...hope I'm not jinxing it.
