Can't believe this crap. Hopefully that anonmous source won't be after tonight. I can say I do have a pretty bad vibe about everything I've heard but at the same time I really can't see Tressel getting fired bur resigning maybe... Or possibly even stepping down for a season but I still see the most likely event being Tressel has his job intact.

The nagging thought in the pit of my stomach is the memory that Geiger's first offer to Jim O'Brien was to call a press conference for that afternoon for him to resign. He refused, and the rest is history. JT is NOT JO. I don't see him slinking out the door this afternoon and firing off a wrongful termination lawsuit tomorrow morning. If he did make this horrible lapse of judgement, I believe that he's the kind of guy who would man up and do the right thing as an example to his players.

Not saying his resignation is likely, but it's in the realm of possibility.

I've never gotten the sense that Wetzel was interested in bringing down any one institution or person, and that any "axe" he has is with the overall system of college football (BCS, players payment, etc.).
