XBox 360, PS3 or Wii? ( ESPN on 360 for TWC)

So because UVerse has been a POS for us since we moved into our house, we're looking at other options. And the other options are a dish or Insight. Insight is a lot cheaper, so we're going to try that and hope that WOW gets out to our neighborhood ASAP.

Anyone know if ESPN and the extra features on the 360 will work with Insight provider?

Be careful what you wish for. We couldn't wait to get uverse so we could get away from insight.

Our Uverse has been hosed up a lot lately. Constantly getting the blue screen of death "the tv has lost signal" message. Several times a day. On every tv. Massive digital disruptions. I'll be watching NCIS and Kensi will be talking, digital scramble, freeze.......... gun fight. WTF??? They've been out to fix this twice. Still getting it.

Calling AT&T in tomorrow. If they don't get it fixed this time, I'm off to find a carrier that gives me the product I'm paying for.

A XBL Indie game, but I'm pumped for this. Trials HD was fun as hell.

I may have to buy a new PS3. My first gen backward compatable (yes, I still play the original PS games I have from time to time) is acting up. I think it is overheating, but took it apart, totally cleaned it out, and lubed the cooling fan. That didn't work. Rebuilt the database. That didn't work. Next thing to try is a complete system restore and lose all my saved data. Ugh.

It works for awhile, then either totally locks up to where I have to use the toggle switch to power it off, or I get a frozen screen for a few seconds followed by 3 beeps and an immediate power down like I held the power button for couple of seconds. No Yellow Light Of Death, thank goodness. Just started happening all of a sudden. No new games/programs/movies and it happened right before the last update was released.

Anyone have any other ideas before I do a full system restore?

Back everything up to an external HD, that way you don't lose anything.

3 beeps is the PS3's way of indicating an "error", whether it was a bad save or something else. Mine has done that a few times with NBA 2k12 and BF3, but that's it. Do your games act up, warping the image etc? If so, then your GPU is going out. You can buy time by opening it up, cleaning off the old thermal paste and reapplying.

When you turn it on, do you feel air coming from the vents? If not, the fan is broken (known to happen after some time on these "fat" PS3's)

Is your PS3 in the open, or in a cabinet?
