Indeed, wrestling was loaded for a few years. Tables, ladders and chairs = awesomeness, in large part due to the Dudley Boys. WWF had an actual competitor at the time, competition always being a good thing for the consumer, and they would try to spoil each others shows by revealing the other organizations finale at the beginning of their respective show.

Yeah, and then Vince McMahon decided he would just buy every competitor out. Except TNA, they're still going strong. :roll1:
