All of this talk about old school while failing to mention one of the best tag teams of all time, The Midnight Express, led by Jim Cornette and his tennis racket.

Bobby Eaton is a GOD!

I don't remember ever seeing Cornette dressed that well.

They were actually more entertaining as the "Original Midnight Express" with Paul E. Dangerously (Heyman) in the AWA in the late 80s I thought myself.

This is one of my favorite WM matches, first WM match for HBK after coming out of retirement. Safeco Field is a pretty cool venue too:

And probably one of the more energetic crowds I've seen, even if the match was technically crap. Rock carried Hogan pretty well:

Hogan should have retired there. That would have been the perfect sendoff....his legs had absolutely NO lift left in them at that point.

Nice one

2 of my other favorite interviews of all time were thew Beaver Cleavage one where he quits in the middle and the Shockmaster where Davey Boy Smith keeps saying "He fell on his ass!"

Cleavage quitting was a worked shoot though. Much like Goldust quitting his "Seven" character in wCw. And although emotional in that interview, Vader didn't retire after that match. He was relegated to jobber status for awhile before getting leaving for Japan if I recall.

Shockmaster was an epic fail.......Glittery Stormtrooper masks are never a good idea
