Wrestling Chat (WWF, WWE, WCW, etc.)

My old Vero Beach HS football buddy is/was the wrestler Terry Taylor. He wrestled under the name "Red Rooster" as well. His dad was a doctor on the beach side of town. Really bright guy who was going to go into medicine. But he learned about the money in rasslin' - and he said he liked the young women throwing themselves at him too. He never did get his degree to my knowledge.

He was a great technical wrestler in the NWA...National Heavyweight Champion (when they had a million titles ) if I recall. He was a perfect example of how Vinny Mac takes a guy that doesn't look roided up and ruins them with worthless feuds and stupid gimmicks. He was still a road agent the last I heard though, so he couldn't have done too badly for himself.

He was head of talent relations in TNA until about a year ago when he got fired from that job title. But yeah, he made a career out of behind the scenes work

Good old "Poultry in Motion." He had a mean flying forearm...

All of this talk about old school while failing to mention one of the best tag teams of all time, The Midnight Express, led by Jim Cornette and his tennis racket.

Bobby Eaton is a GOD!

Indeed, wrestling was loaded for a few years. Tables, ladders and chairs = awesomeness, in large part due to the Dudley Boys. WWF had an actual competitor at the time, competition always being a good thing for the consumer, and they would try to spoil each others shows by revealing the other organizations finale at the beginning of their respective show.

Stacy Keibler = awesomeness

If by Stacy Keibler, you mean her first personality, Miss Hancock (sometimes spelled MIss Handcock), a librarian who performed strip routines to distract the wrestlers, then by all means yes.
