WR T.Y. (Tyrone) Williams (official thread)

Good film

I like the film, his stride is long, I wouldnt question his speed. He seems quite a bit like Stoney, and he seems to get to top speed fairly quickly. I would imagine if he has grades and fits what the staff is looking for that he very well could be a camp offer. Maybe he could be the next Flex guy for us. Go Bucks

Would he be a good comparison to Robo or Michael Jenkins, or is Jarrett the closest comparison?

I think that the Jarrett comparison is better because their route running skills (at this stage) are similar. Jenkins and Robo were always pure route runners who could get open even if the corner they're matched up against was superior athletically.

I have always been in favor of offering Williams...he is easily my favorite WR in the state and a top 10 player imo, as long as the grades are there. I would like to see a combo of a big guy like Williams and a more explosive guy like Dunkley.

Maybe his we did not hear about his offer because Devin Gardner burned it and claimed it was his. I like the offer. We need a big WR and Williams fits the mold. I feel he can become a Jarrett-Mike Williams type of pass catching threat.

If that's the comparison he can become I like the sound of this kid in S&G more and more! Great offer, hopefully he committs soon! Go Bucks

Gotta love his hands and how he makes separation after catching the ball. I really love big recievers like M. Brown, D. Jarrett, M. Jenkins, C. Chambers, etc. He definitely fits that mold and I'm glad he loves the Buckeyes. He'll look great in scarlet and gray.

Could you imagine both him and Stoney being used in the Red Zone?

A big physical receiver is something we've kind of been missing lately and it would be great to have Tyrone. I wouldn't put Chambers in the category with those other guys though, he's listed at 5-11 which means he's probably 5-10 I guess it's a credit to him because he seems to play much bigger than that.
