WR Ray Small (official thread)

When some of you guys get old enough to have kids you'll understand better.

  1. Kids screw up, usually more than once.
  2. You make them feel the pain brought by the consequences of their actions so they will hopefully one day have the wisdom to cut down on the poor decisions. No one ever gets to the point where he or she quits making dumb decisions all together.
  3. You throw your arm around them after you punish them and and make sure they know you love them.
  4. At no point do you ever turn your back on them.

I didn't know you were a MILF. HAWT!

for those commenting on his lack of play on the field.....did the spring game do anything for you??

I think Ray would be a huge loss to this team...especially if the coordinators decide to get creative and motion players around. Ray is a versatile guy who could be utilized in different roles assuming the Bucks open it up a bit this year.

Hopefully Ray can/has turned everything around and will greatly contribute this year. After seeing his play in the Spring Game, I'm excited to see him on the field this fall. We all need to stick with him and remember that he is still a Buckeye.

Ray has been largely invisible at WR since getting jacked up 3 years ago vs Minny. However, for all of his inconsistencies, he was pretty effective against the Trojans.

Actually, Small had a pretty decent season in '07, making long catches against PSU and Purdue, and almost scoring on the reverse against Minny, which drew attention from Mel Kiper. It really looked for a second like he was beginning to emerge as a #3 or #2 WR. Then LSU happened, and if you remember, there was a barage of criticism directed against the lack of focus and effort of the players, including Small. Very little good has emerged from Small after LSU.

Aren't we all?

In the case of Ray Small, he is a valuable weapon but too many programs and teams have been seduced by talent and let that seduction cloud their minds. The point being, when is too much, too much regardless of the repercusions?

Case in point: Chad Johnson/Bengals and others.

Don't turn your back on him; however, do not let his antics cloud your vision of excellence.
