:) OSU is the only one being tough to get into OSU in the big ten. Northwestern/scum allow lesser qualified to play football and duke does the same for basketball

johnson to lowa denied from osu because, he wasnt in the top 50 percent at his school but, what if it was another school with him being in the top 50 percent with the same grades/act/sat there. Accepted at osu

Even though other people have gotten into OSU without being in the top half of their class? Sounds more like a myth to me.
wish it was a myth and I hope I'M WRONG but, That's how OSU admissions work with some of these young men and that's how its been reported from other sites.

I just think its unfair when thinking about the differences between a lot of the schools. Academics in some are amazing and others are a joke and any kid can get caught up in the middle of that school.

For example, if most the students have a 3.0 and 17 or better act/sat and this next kid being recruited by OSU has only a 2.75 with a 17 but, not in the top 50 percent. IT would be hell to get that kid into OSU if at all.

Same as before...clear as mud.

I'm just going to remain hopeful and assume he'll be o.k. until it's specifically reported that he's heading elsewhere.
