WR Ray Small (official thread)

I wasn't going to post on this but, it starting to make me sick. Osu admissions have to become more organize if there in control of some young mans future if he can or can't be allowed to attend the school instead, of a day to day until school starts.

Have to back up HotMic here. Sounds like there is plenty of blame to go round for all parties with the coaches caught in the middle.

I still hope he gets in.

Personally, I don't think it's an issue of blame at all, and it has nothing to do with anybody failing to get paperwork in on time. The bottom line is, meeting NCAA qualifications minima is not the same thing as meeting OSU admissions minima.

Without knowing the details, it may be premature on most of us to pass judgement on admissions, Small himself or the staff. It just seems like this situation is happening every year and that is the frustrating part. Where is the answer?

I just hope for Small that he doesn't get mentioned in the future with Lenix, Kennedy.....:(

thats will I'm lost and confused at. The answer should not be on hold. OSU is gaining respect by raising there academic needs but, there in the big ten not the ivory league

It seems to me that admissions is doing everything possible to give this kid a shot at admission. Normal freshman, I would think, have already had to send in their confirmations.

Let's hope that, if they do let him in, he does the work required to stay in.

And neither are you...[/quote
never said I was in the Ivory leagus. Pissed off at OSU for trying to get in the vanderbilt and stanford comparisons

Kids go to the ivory league because they get those great french benefits!

Their going too coz to many kids too loose interest in us by razing the standards to high, rather then excepting them in too the school. This has a bad negative affect on are recruiting strategeries!
Whew!

Seriously, this is just a bad dream - when i wake up in the morning, it will all be gone and Ray will be admitted........
