So Don "Donnie Brasco'' Banks and I are in Champs Bar next door to the Target Center on Saturday night, chowing and watching games on TV. We see Ohio State wide receiver Brian (Son of Terry) Robiskie make a circus touchdown catch for the Buckeyes at the Metrodome against Minnesota. Brasco says: "That looked like a young Randy Moss making the kind of catch a young Randy Moss made on that exact field eight or nine years ago.''

I was sad losing Ginn/Gonzo but, I really think Robiskie will be the best pro out of them all. Hope he stays since, OSU will be pre season # 1 next year.

I will say, Robiskie really has been a pleasant surprise for me this year.

I knew that he was good last year, but wasn't sure how he would fare as the #1 guy, and didn't know if he benefited from playing on a great offense with NFL first round receivers.

Couldn't be more happy to be proven wrong .

Can't say enough about how lucky we are to have a coaching staff that knows how to evaluate talent and potential. So many people get caught up in the number of stars. But tOSU knows how to find the diamonds in the rough with great work ethic and coachable attitudes and turn them into super-stars. What was Robo-a 2 star? Love it.

I still think that Holmes will be the best pro out of all of them, but boy, Robo has really caught me by surprise. It really shows you what can happen when you got a young man with the right background in the right environment can do. Hartline and Small still need to step up!

But if I was talking about all WRs in the Tressel era, it wouldn't really matter that Holmes left after '05, would it? Or am I not seeing something here?

You quoted him like he was including all the receivers from the Tressel era but I don't think he was. I think he was just talking about last year's group of Gonzo, Ginn, and Hall. Maybe you just worded it kind of funny. I took it like you thought that he thought Robo would be better than Holmes.

bingo out of last years stars but, I remember the samething when Holmes went pro. All buckeye fans were like WHOSE THE WR STAR NEXT YEAR? GINN/GONZO/HALL . This year robiskie, hartline and small. OSU is so loaded its just a matter of time for the next group and on,, ,,
