Robo's ability to adjust to the ball is the best on the team and among the best I've ever seen. It is that ability that caused me to compare him recently to Larry Fitzgerald.

Many receivers can adjust to the ball so as to catch it. Ted Ginn Jr. does a great job of that, as does Gonzo. What sets Robo apart is his ability to adjust to the ball so that when he gets there the defender has no chance to make a play on the ball even to knock it down. Whether it's getting there with your back to the defender, or over-running the ball and reaching back for it, or high-pointing a ball and taking a hit instead of taking a chance on losing the reception to try for a big play; Robo does it all. Lots of guys can do that once in awhile. Robo has done it on most of the receptions that I've seen.

If you think it's easy, then you don't remember what it's like to play the game; or you never did.

anyone think Robiskie has a little bit of Larry Fitzgerald in him...to me thats the reciver he reminds me of(of course this was before he started burning DBs in the last few games...) but he strikes me as a guy who is just as good, and could be better than Larry Fitz...

any one see any similarites...

In a word, yes.

I'm not sure that he could be better than Larry Fitzgerald. Larry has some physical tools that Robo doesn't have. But the knack for getting to the ball in traffic is very similar. The Buckeye that I would compare him to w.r.t. that skill is Cris Carter. But there again, Cris Carter had other-worldly leaping/athletic ability. Robo is a good athlete, but not quite at that level.

He is as good a technician at his position as I've ever seen though.

Robo's TD catch was the best I have seen in many years. Absolute poetry in catching that ball. From the stop step to let the defender fall away which put his body in position to make the twisting leap up over the DB and the one hand catch that followed was just pure beauty.
The athleticism that catch required was almost unsurpassable.
I just can't say enough about it.

My initial thought of that catch was of Cris Carter. There are great WRs, then there are superstars who just have it in their blood. Some of the catches that Robo has hauled in this season have been of the variety that you just can't teach -- some kids are born with it.

Somebody needs to notify the chairman of the Biletnikoff Award Committee that their watch list needs some trimming.

Does anyone know Robo's stance on possible early entry in the NFL?

People mention Gholston, Jenkins, JL, and even Boone, but you only hear a little bit about Robo possibly leaving early. I think he'd be a prototypical number two receiver in the NFL. Great hands, above average speed, amazing technique, good blocker. There are some good WR this year(Doucet, Desean Jackson, and a few others), but I'd have to think Robo would be ranked in at least the top five at the position if he came out early.

I hope he stays though, simply because it would be awesome to finish the season top 3 in the country and return 10 starters on offense.

Which could easily be mid-late 2nd round. I don't see him being a surefire first rounder this season, which is JT's standard for taking off. String together another fine season like this one, with a more seasoned offense (other than OT), and his stock should be higher.

I dont believe his father will recommend that he leave after this season. Being and NFL receivers coach he should know when he's ready and I believe I heard him say, no link sorry, that he would want Brian to play one more year in college.

JT's standard didn't stop Pittman. If Robo keeps playing lights out all season, he's gone. His dad is an NFL coach...you don't think dad is already talking up his son around the league?

You may be right... Or his father may be telling him he's not quite ready yet. We shall see. In the meantime, keep it up Robo!
