Good news: I am about to fly to Columbus and will be there for the game.

Bad news: I will be at a wedding.

Why do people schedule weddings during home games?

I was at least nice enough to schedule it at an away game and timed it so the reception would be playing the game on a large screen during the reception.

I've probably mentioned this before here a few times, but I went to a wedding with Ohio people on the day of the 2002 Ohio State Michigan game. My friend and I (our wives were bridesmaids) said "we'll catch up with you" and skipped the wedding to watch the game, but made the reception. The bride and wives didn't care, but we caught serious shit from random older people. Oh well.

So yes, why schedule on this day? At least pick a game against Akron or something.

I have not been feeling optimistic about this game. But then, I think about it, and I remember the Nebraska game, where I thought we would get our azzez whipped, and we looked really good before BM got hurt.

So if that Buckeye team shows up then we absolutely have a good chance, playing in the Shoe.

We need a healthy Braxton, and a stoned out of his mind Jim Bollman so he opens up the freakin playbook. I hate hate hate being predictable!!

[what? you knew I was gonna say that? damn!]

Go Bucks! Just Win, Baby!

Shit, when I got married I made sure it was on a night game. Wedding at noon, reception over with by 3:30, everyone home in plenty of time to catch an 8pm kick. Most importantly, gave me time to get to the hotel, take care of business, and watch the game. (2008, Wisconsin game, Buckeyes win and TP has his coming out party)

And fuck having a wedding in Columbus during this seasons biggest home game. Good luck with a TV at the reception, isn't this carried by E$PiN? Not like you can just hook an antenna up...fuck.

If they have WiFi, you could probably get a stream of it. I just checked, ESPN3 is going to be streaming it.

There you go, insist on high speed internet.

It's the groom's way of taking everyone else down with him.

Even if people weren't OSU fans here, why have to fight through traffic for a wedding? People flying in will almost assuredly hit some football traffic in some sense, and if the wedding is un Upper Arlington or Grandview, it's even worse.
