Still #10, only 2 points behind #9 Perry Carter. An 11 point game (or higher) against Miami tomorrow moves him up to #8.

He's due for a big game. Lamar matched up pretty well with our guards last night which might have contributed to Buford not going off but I feel it coming tomorrow vs Miami. I think he tops 20 points in that one.

Forgive me, but I'm too full of Christmas spirit(s) to look through all of the thread.....but isn't Katie Smith and Jantel Lavender the two top scorers in all of OSU basketball? Or is this thread 'The top MALE OSU scorer'?

Sorry for the intrusion, carry on. Oh yeah, and he will get the record this year, during the Final Four.......

- Buford not only became the fourth Ohio State player to reach at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 300 assists in his career -- joining Jim Jackson, Evan Turner and David Lighty -- he also moved up to eighth place in career points. His 18 points gave him 1,629, putting him past Perry Carter and Dave Sorenson.

Next up: Jay Burson at 1,756.

"I'm not worried about the scoring record. I'm just worried about winning," Buford said.

To which Craft added: "He'd better keep being nice to me if he wants the ball.":)

Career high for Buford tonight. Still at #8. He is 99 points behind #7 Jay Burson. He's back on track for breaking the record if the Bucks play 40 games.

I was thinking it was more the lack of having to shoot over a 12 foot reach that some of these guys seem to have.
