Irrational fear. Have you been banned for this statement? Has anyone remained banned who can evidence it was done without reasonable cause? I'm tired of this ridiculous and unfounded rhetoric about the hard core banning culture that just doesn't exist.

We're talking about "points" that have no value or meaning, it's an imaginary construct we use for entertainment. If anyone is going to lose sleep about getting a smaller number, they can have mine. Moreover, it's a hack that is no longer supported by the person who took it over from the original author, each citing ugly code and poor processes as the issue behind it. It could just as easily stop working on our next forum upgrade as it could continue to function as long as the site is online. I make no warranties regarding its availability or accuracy, and I certainly don't 'promise' anything at all regarding points or the book.

If the 'toy' is going to be a headache, we're better off without it.

If people want realism, I can turn off the charity function that makes sure you have at least some points to bet with, and we can turn on vDebt where you can go in the hole and vGuido breaks your fucking kneecaps because you're behind on your payments.

Because you'd feel just as bad as the rest of us who won anything.

The thing that I think a lot of people are missing is that any of us real fans would have not only given our vcash on this bet to not see it come through, but a few of us would have given our eye teeth to see TB have an All B10 year again.

The fact that any of us "won" anything in this vbet means that the team, and in all likelihood a young man who has given a lot to our team, lost something... and I'd like to believe that we'd give all our vcash in our vworld to have not had that happen.

... and at the end of the day, there's a young man who is dealing with some very real disappointment. Not vdisappointment... real disappontment. And that sucks. Not one bit of vsucking at all.
