Let me repeat this, and it probably won't be the last time.

I had no right to set this up. It was an abuse of my vBookie privileges at best. I used the system to make a point, which again, I had no right to do.

I was the one making the promise, but what I was promising wasn't mine.

What exactly was it that I was promising, you ask?

I was promising that, given the events of today, a mockery would be made of the points system. As it is worth only bragging rights, no one here ever would have had ANY chance of EVER catching the top 20 in the points system. This would have rendered it meaningless.

I was promising that, given the events of today, the rewarding of points for donating would be rendered pointless.

Did I have the right to promise either of those things? No? So be mad at me if you're going to be mad. I promised something that the Admins had no business allowing to happen.

I just don't see how anyone has anything bad to say. Sure, we aren't all billionaires, but it's not like you walked away with nothing. I bet 100K because of the odds, and won 10 mil. If the odds hadn't been what they were I probably wouldn't have bet and wouldn't have made 10 mil, overall, I don't see any reason for any logical person to complain. If virtual money has this much of an effect on your life then you aren't down with Justin Timberlake, and that's just sad.
