Who will be tOSU's head coach on July 1, 2012? (betting closed)

So you see this as a 10-3 season. Interesting.

By the way, I have some real estate deals I'd like to discuss with you. Call me, soonest.

I see 10-3 as much more likely than 5-7. 5-7 sounds like an ignorant scUM fan's prediction of tOSU's final record this year.

The only game I think is a stretch to win is Wiscy. And it is a primetime payback game at home, so who the fuck knows? Indiana, Purdue, Penn State, and Michigan do not scare me in the slightest. Are the losable? Of course- any game is losable with our offense. But any game is also winnable with our defense.

Now, do I expect to lose any of them? This is The Ohio State University. I never expect to lose any game.

I think we qualify for a bowl game, but not much better.

At this point, I just want a real HC. Love Luke as a DC, and its obvious watching him on the sideline that it's his comfort zone, but he's just not ready to be HC.

Right. It would be nice if he had some experience as a HC at a major program before someone hires as a HC. If only he could get some HC experience somewhere.

So they actually asked him, point blank, if he was interested in the job?
Once again, not sure, I didn't watch it, I'm just summarizing what other people said.

Wasn't meant to be a be all end all or some epic news, just more of the same that points in a pretty positive direction for the Urban-to-OSU buzz.

Just making sure. I have a guy on the telephone line. I was going to tell him I heard it from someone who heard it from someone who saw it on TV that Urban smiled when they mentioned Ohio State.

Or someone who has seen a completely inept Buckeye offense combine with a defense that collapsed completely at Nebraska. That could also lead to that kind of projection.

It's good to be optimistic, but it's also good to be realistic.

As bad as we have played, I don't see how realistic 0-3 against Purdue, PSU and Michagan sounds.

I know it's a stretch to say we win against Wisconsin in two weeks but you say how you watched us collapse in the second half of the Nebraska game but I find it hard to shrug off what we did in the first half, and if we can play like that against Wisconsin at home it's gonna be a stupidly close game and very winnable.
