Who will be Penn State's HC on Feb 2, 2012? (Note - don't merge old posts)

Now that JoePa has tied Eddie Robinson's record, and since he reportedly doesn't have a contract after this year, and since he turns 85 in late December, there is a lot of speculation that this will be his last year. Hence, a vBet.

The note about not merging old posts is because the vBet would get wiped out if a post older than this one gets merged in.

Where did you get those odds? Meyer is at 3-2

This is just me, but I'd have a problem stepping into that locker room if I'm a perspective recruit or perspective new head coach, after knowing what went on in their (if the allegations are proven true).

If the allegations are not true, then no issues at all.

But if true, tear it down and rebuild the thing.

I agree. He may be an idiot, but he seems to be an honorable idiot. And he certainly has the power of personality to take control of this mess imo...

Yeah, just look what he did as president of the Detroit Lions. Well, at least it would take him out of the TV booth:sad:

Harvard's Murphy interested in Penn State

I think he?d definitely be interested in looking into it,? the source said Tuesday. ?He?d have to look ? at this one. He?s got plenty of years left in him. He?s absolutely interested in exploring it.?
Murphy, 54, has long been admired by his peers. On Saturday, the Crimson won their sixth Ivy League title under Murphy. His name popped up at Michigan before Rich Rodriguez was hired, at Notre Dame before Charlie Weis was hired and at Boston College before Frank Spaziani was hired. Murphy?s name has been connected to at least six major jobs since 2001.
