Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

I actually thought last night's episode was pretty good. Nothing great or exciting, but a good filler--which from time to time you need on a show. Plus, the sub-plot of Kate/Sawyer/Locke did a nice job of setting up next weeks episode.

It was just a "feel-good" episode.

And the van was different than the one his Dad drove before he left:

I thought it was pretty good as well and maybe the best episode in a pretty sub par season (at least so far). It gave me hope that this show can turn things around.

Concur, was essentially a repeat of the golf episode.

Last night's episode was pretty good... finally some answers, although not a ton. Good insight into the sonar/satellite and the Dharma Initiative v The Hostiles.

Also, glad sawyer pointed out that in spite of Hurley's salads (or so he says) is that it hasn't made any difference in his appearance. Maybe he should try to eat two and see if it helps any.

What the hell, something meaningful actually happened last night.

They found the site named 'Flame', which was used to communicate with the outside world. And old video recordings played after defeating the computerized chess game seem to confirm that Dharma was aware, early on, of the Hostiles/Others on the island. It seems that the Hostiles/Others were really on the island before Dharma, rather than being a group that split off from Dharma.

We can only assume that they took the Operations Manual out of the building before the C4 blew it away.

Yea, last night was a great episode. What a relief.

Sayid took the map from the manual, but they didn't show if he took the entire manual itself. Hopefully they pick back up on this part of the story next week and don't leave it in limbo for 4 weeks.

Also, who do you think the Hostiles are? Ben and his people, or a group we haven't seen?

It may become the side story for one week. From what I have read, next week is suppose to focus on Claire, while the one in two weeks will focus on Locke.

Oh, and yes, really good episode last night. I'm glad to see they were getting back to the basics. I hope they keep it up.
