Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

Well, the question then is has LOST jumped the shark?

I would say we can't tell as of yet since the show could still be rescued. However, if things don't change then I am going to say it jumped with the episode last fall when Ekho was killed--the way they flipped his backstory made absolutely no sense!

Anyone else think the show has jumped yet? If so, when?

Nothing to really advance the plot and they certainly did not answer 3 big questions, as was promised.

Agreed. The show said it would answer the questions of (1) What happened to the kids who were taken? It answered it by saying, "They're in a better place," or something along those lines, and (2) What are the Others doing on the island? It answered that by saying something like, "They're watching."

This show is really starting to annoy me. It says that it's going to answer a question, yet it does so in such a general way that you still have no idea what's going on. It's like if someone asked me where I'm from and I answered, "Earth." Have I answered the question? Technically yes, but for all intents and purposes, no. That's what "Lost" does every time it says it's going to answer a question. All the while, it creates more questions every week.

Prediction: the show will continue to lose viewers until it is taken off the air, its creators will be forced to try to explain everything in 2 or 3 shows, and they will wrap up the series in an entirely unsatisfactory way.

Seasons 1 and 2 were gold, I don't know what the hell they are doing this year.

Of course, next week they are saying it's a "can't miss episode that will have everyone talking". I believe that translates to: "nothing will be answered, we will add more confusion".

From this weeks lost...

They only in part answered about Jacks tattoos. They just covered the chinese characters on his arm, but there is more to his tatoos than that.

Bai Ling-- woof.

Now here is a bit of "Lost" trivia. go to the imdb.com and look up Forest Whitakers trivia. Seems he was to play Sawyer but cancelled late.

The backflashes lost me from the git-go, but I have endured hoping all would tie together and keep my interest picqued.

The SS Lost is listing to port and sinking fast. At this point it would take a steamy love scene b/t Marianne and Ginger to salvage it.

I took a peak at the spoilers section over at http://www.lost-tv.com/ and although next week's will be better (heck, anything would be better than this week's catastrophe) it is pretty much a filler episode as well. Supposedly, the one in two weeks will be really good and advance the plot--even if just a little.
